v502 Psion Update Patch Notes

You guys nailed the Passkeys and Youla end of dungeon thingy. Everything else seems to be a bit of a disaster. I can't comment on Psion and Leveling event/channel since I haven't tried it yet.

Violets have been talked and talked about and you've passed on addressing it three patches now. I was getting one crystal a day on average with the FM daily on like 8 alts and with that daily gone I doubt I will be able to average half a crystal a day. Maybe if I burn 6 alts worth of purple RP in Skyship I could get my Necklace evo'd by December, but thats just one piece of three and I'm not gonna burn 6 alts worth of purple in skyship I'll pass on that awful grind. Please do something about Violet Kritium.

Next is earrings.. okay you guys seem hellbent on making them 'work correctly', and that is okay I suppose, but you shouldn't bug fix a bug that is essential to certain classes and the current state of the game. If anything the Earrings are a positive feature to the game in its current state. The priority on fixing this bug is bewildering to me. It is such a massive change to balance and core gameplay that it needed to be looked at long and hard on the PTS and maybe introduced with the Arena reset (and hopefully defense rework). As a Vamp on floor 143 I was getting the bosses <10 bars often and occasionally killing them but getting denied by the timer which is a feature/bug fix I would be happy if you guys looked at it, but anyways back to earrings, and now I can't dip the bosses below 60 bars because my EX-generation is so low from the nerfed earrings. The way it was added last minute to the patch notes is fishy as well considering the backlash last time the earrings were tweaked with. I'm okay with earrings being less overpowered, but there needs to be compensation in difficulty. The current end game is designed around them being busted.

Boss damage accent seems pay to win, but whatever it's just 3% so I don't care. But one patch it is 3%, the next new accent might be 5%, then 10%, and finally something like 20%, so hopefully we don't slowly creep into hardcore pay to win.

Lag is atrocious everywhere I go. Gem dailies, 2/2 dailies, Xanadu, Starhenge, Fractured Memories, Arena, etc. PVP hasn't worked most of the day/night.

ST is broken for a lot of people and their characters (their entries were taken).

PVP event cosmetic wings being temporary is a laugh. Yeah, I'll pass on your 'event' if the only interesting thing to me is a cosmetic that expires and vanishes at the start of the new year.

FM Rewards seem okay. I dunno I still think 12 weeks is too long for a season. I'd prefer lesser rewards if it meant more frequent seasons. Same goes for Arena. I'd rather it reset often even if it meant the rewards weren't as good.

BoA Soul gems seem pretty good for the long-term health of the game, but something like that should have probably been mentioned in the August roadmap. A lot of the rich got richer in the short term with this change, but I suppose that's okay since they will not be able to capitalize on it due to the earring nerf.

This bit isn't really related to any changes just something I'd like to vent;

I have almost no goodwill or benefit of the doubt left for Kritika's development. Which is a shame because I love Kritika it is fun to play and I've met some awesome people online, but the handling of Kritika and its patching has been awful and I'm not sure if it is due to complacency, poor leadership, incompetence, indifference, or whatever, but the game is hemorrhaging players with each update and at least on NA the population seems back to pre Steam levels. I'm not hopeful the game will make it to the end of the roadmap in January or February. I interact with new players probably more than most since I spend my RP usually running people dailies instead of solo Bella grinding, and I run ST for people pretty much cheaper than anyone I know. Heck, I do it for free if they are new and it's their main. They ask me stuff about the end game, I tell them 'it's kinda a drag you grind Bella and letters a lot, but it should get better', and I can't tell them that anymore with a straight face, because I have zero reasons to believe it will get better since every patch has been a mess or disaster in some way. I feel guilty for all people I did tell that it will get better. They should have gotten out while they could. I will probably stick it out until the December update the Arena reset has me intrigued since I hope it will be rebalanced as well, but that will likely end up being another disappointment and probably the end of my time on Kritika.

Anyways hope your hotfix team is on their A game this patch is a mess.
